I am an adult convert to Catholicism, having spent many years practicing various forms of worship. The Blessed Virgin Mary stood by me throughout and led me to her son. I was ordained as a Roman Catholic Deacon in 2008.
We are all born with a yearning to be close to God impressed upon our soul. It is by grace that the true presence of Christ in the Eucharist is revealed to us.
I owe much to my wife, Marilyn Mudry, with whom I have shared life and a joined spiritual journey. We have also worked side-by-side in business, as Innkeepers of the Hawthorne Inn 1976-2016, and, since 2003, as Realtors. Together we share the blessing of three adult children, with their spouses and partner, and two grandsons.
My particular calling has been to serve the elderly residing in our local assisted living facilities, offering services and prayer.
A deep dive into my background reveals a Fine Arts connection, as I attended the Boston School of the Museum of Fine Arts and enjoyed many years exhibiting sculpture and drawings. What’s left to be said, except that we are “Dog and Cat People” and avid gardeners.
It is an honor to worship with you at the Holy Family Parish – St. Irene Parish collaborative.
