Hello friend! My name is Marie Noel, and I am honored and privileged to serve God with you in this beautiful vineyard of our Holy Family–St. Irene Collaborative.
Born and raised in Haiti, my faith is one of the two greatest treasures God has blessed me with.
The second, of course, is my amazing family. God blessed my parents with a “colony” of children, who in return have blessed our family with a “colony” of grandchildren, so yes, there are many of us!
I am passionate about God and how He reveals Himself through our Holy Catholic faith. It is always a privilege to share this faith with others, especially with children. I’m constantly amazed by how open children are to God, they are natural mystics.
I also love sharing the faith with youth, young adults, and adults of all ages and walks of life. Their questions often reveal the same truth St. Augustine discovered long ago: “Our hearts are restless until they rest in You.” That restless heart is the mark of a pilgrim and the journey of the natural mystic in each and every one of us. It is what led me to a career in faith formation and pastoral ministry following my studies in theology and social work at the College of St. Elizabeth and Boston College.
So I welcome you all: the young and the old, the family and the single person. Come as you are, with an open or closed mind, with questions or with quiet anticipation. Come with joy or disappointment and we will journey together on this sacred pilgrimage of faith and hope. It is never a bad day or time to reach out. I am here to serve. My email is faithformation@cc- Catholic.org. God bless you!
