The following vides share information about what a Steubenville Conference is all about.
Jesus came so we could have life to the fullest. Life with Him offers MORE. Because of Jesus, we can have a life of abundance. Of greatness. A life MORE fulfilling, satisfying, and remarkable than we can imagine.
A life with Christ is what we were made for.
We are God’s masterpiece, created for a purpose and destiny. Scripture is filled with Him telling us of the great works we are capable of. We were created to be more than bystanders. Christ invites us into a beautiful existence of being loved by Him and calls us to share that love with others through the unique gifts He has given each of us. He fills us up so we can overflow into the lives of others.
Join us this summer and discover MORE ways to use your gifts, experience MORE self-love, & embrace MORE of a relationship with Jesus Christ.
You will work, serve tirelessly, think deeply, celebrate Mass and build relationships. You will dance, laugh until your side hurts, pray, change on the inside and be a part of transforming lives and communities for Christ. You will never be the same! The heart of CHWC is to gather and celebrate our Catholic faith. Each camper will receive a renewed faith through the Eucharist, youth-friendly liturgies, reconciliation and community building.
The CHWC Mission
To share the love of Christ as we serve the neglected, brokenhearted and the marginalized in any way needed. Equally, to inspire participants to live as disciples of Christ through serving others as a way of life; and to foster the Catholic faith of each particpant through the sacraments prayer and involvement in social service. Our volunteers work with many agencies, parishes and Catholic Schools in the Paterson, Newark and Elizabeth areas. We also branch out into less urban areas of North Jersey. The worksites include homeless shelters, food pantries, low-income preschools, a friary, group homes for individuals with disabilities, Senior daycare, a nursing home and a convent, just to highlight a few.

Steubenville East 2023:
Why Come to a Steubenville East Conference?
As an outreach of Franciscan University of Steubenville, Steubenville East is a summer conference that helps teens encounter the love of Christ every summer. Their mission is to build the Church by helping teens encounter the love of Jesus Christ.
Each summer, Life Teen hosts a number of Steubenville Youth Conferences with the hopes of strengthening and inspiring teens and youth groups in their collective journeys with Christ. Evangelistic in nature, these weekend conferences are both a great “introduction” to the Gospel message for new or younger teens, while offering deep and moving experiences of prayer and fellowship for everyone. The conference features a weekend of engaging liturgies, inspiring music, challenging talks and overwhelming joy.
